Flat Intercom System
Hi all, I need to quote replace an existing knackered flat intercom system, 6 flats & limited cores at the intercom so thought of using a 2 wire system. I've used Videx in the past and rated them but age old thing client doesn't always want to pay / wants options I would need vandal resistant intercom & its audio (no video requirement) Any one used any other good 2 wire gear? If so where is a good place to purchase / price up? Thanks In advance

to be honest with the age of it the best thing you can do is upgrade the system.

Spanner Light On - Accenta Alarm Keypad
could also be engineer reset on tamper (I believe you can set it on this panel)

Risco LightSYSTM2 - Won't Install -Showing Stars
looks like it is asking you to maybe install (address) the keypad (not done much on this panel but the CPX / 595 & 600 there is an option to address them)

Gardtec eurosec cpx remove radio zone
in the engineers menu (under Programme zones) you need to turn off wireless ZEX (I think it is)

Keypad and pir upgrade for scantronic 9651
Good, better to have the conversation... IMHO Insurance companies love to take your money but are not so keen in giving it back

Keypad and pir upgrade for scantronic 9651
He's merely trying to protect you.... If your insurance specifies it is maintained by say a "nsi installer" for example then that what you need to do or change insurer for one that doesn't have the requirement (or inform the current insurer it is not maintained)

Gardtec 595
Hi, the 595 has Vo-com on it, if set up the panel will ring you and advise you what zones or zones have triggered in an alarm event. As previously mentioned you cannot add an app to your phone to set or unset it, if you want this functionality you would need to upgrade your full alarm system

Optima Alarm Upgrade
You could use a Pyronix enforcer, it has two wired zone inputs (if you don't need to wire the external bell box) - note if you use the two wired inputs and want an external bell this would have to be wireless It has wireless fobs / and or prox tokens & is fairly simple to use Or another suggestion would be a texecom 12W (or similar) , fairly similar to the enforcer (probably better IMHO) it has at least 4 wired zones, it is wireless capable for expansion, has wireless fobs / prox tokens Hope the above helps

Bell box tamper message
Can you post a pic of the external bell? I can confirm its a Nova 2

Bell box tamper message
This sounds very typical of the Risco nova 2 bells.... I recall a number of years ago there was a batch of them, the piezo would chirp in extreme temperatures (usually the cold), there was a fix but I would suggest you swap the bell.

scuttle
on this one its 4 buttons to default on power up unless the NVM is locked (wont post for obvious reasons)

Veritas R8 problem
I assume you haven't installed this...? If so may be worth try part setting it to see how the PIR on zone 2 behaves when set on part set, it may be set up as an entry and allow you sufficient time to unset the system

yale wireless hsa 3000 series tamper problems

Accenta Gen4 mini alarm panel installer
If cost is not an issue I always install RCBO's as standard on any consumer unit swap out or adding additional circuit

Anti drill tamper
you can get in trouble for doing things like that

Anti drill tamper
I recall removing a few older bells that have a wired lug attached to one of the rear bell box back plate screws (would be protection against the bell being ripped off the wall) The wiring was linked to the tamper circuit.
