  2. hi yea there are 2 wires going to the micro switch do you say its ok to loop the 2 wires together and remove the switch , the switch do,s plug into a pcb but id rather not mess around with it , the wire are yellow and red
  3. hi , wonder if anyone could help with problems concerning yale wireless alarm hsa 3000 series when on sunny days the alarm go,s off on its own , i found out its the tamper switch inside the alarm siren box and the cover must expand with the heat of the sun causing the tamper switch to move , ive tried a few times to pack the switch so the switch is tight closed but after a while im back to square 1. the question is can i disconnect the tamper switch or loop the yellow and red wires together or maybe just fit a 12v on/off switch to bypass this. any help appreciated
  4. hi lads can anyone help . ive got a veritas 8 system in my house which was installed before we bought the property , the alarm has been working ok up till now where when we set the alarm itjust keep beeping and wont set , when doing a walk test its saying zone 3 which is just a pir , even when alarm is not set the pir is just constantly flashing on and off , is it time to change the pir as im assuming there is nothing wrong with the wiring as its been working ok . any help appreciated thanks gaz

  7. hi yes thanks for the info its much appreciated , im having problems getting pics up , when i replace the cover on bellbox and cover on panel the keypad is locked ...no response when trying to enter the code ?? is there anything i could try or can you advise my next move thanks gaz
  8. hi from panel wiring is black wire to bell - red wire to bell + blue wire to scb a yellow wire to scb t white wire to strobe - green wire to strobe + the ade reson 8 siren box is white wire to strobe - black to trigger - blue wire to hold off - red wire to hold off + yellow wire to rtn - hope this helps thanks gaz the thing thats confusing is that i have the green wire strobe + that has no where to go in the bellbox ?

  10. hi i wired it like for like from the panel but there is an extra wire marked strobe + from the panel which has no where to go in the bell box its just a strobe - fitting , the panel is in test mode i think but there is no response from keypad , i tried doing what it says in the manual eg turn off from mains , remove battery , connect wire from 9 to 19 to clear nvm etc but still no response from keypad , is there anything else i could try ? many thanks
  11. hi yes i see your point but when i put the link inside the bellbox to battery charge it go,s off continuous and i cant reset the keypad because its locked out and no response from the keypad at all ?
  12. hi can anyone give me any advice , i recently changed the battery on the control panel after electrics where switched off for a job and the control panel locked out . since then and before this there has never been any trouble. i tried to change the siren/strobe box outside as this was not working , i turned off electrics and removed the battery and all fine, removed outside box and fitted a ade reson8 box but when i came to do wiring like for like i had a strobe + wire which comes from the control panel but has no place to go in the reson8 box? when i change the link to battery charge the alarm sounds constantly ? can anyone help to tell me whether i have to link this strobe + wire to something else , also the control panel is in lock down and even when following the installers instructions on removing memory to factory reset there is nothing , no response from keypad hope someone out there can help many thans gaz
