You need to program (and use) part set for nights then, this does not mean you cannot have full coverage, just that the behaviour of some zones is different at night, e.g. not an instant alarm but a delayed one.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

You can program systems to do whatever you need but the best solution is using the part set.

The correct term for Texecom panels is "Guard Access" or "Inhibited Entry".

You will need to reprogram the Part set function for Zone 2 to be Entry/Exit and the full set for Zone 2 to be Inhibited Entry

Option 12 to 2

Option 22 to 1

Clear the panel down to day mode. Use the Part button to test it works

Probably for the best, but I'd go for a security company rather than an electrician.

I assume you haven't installed this...?

If so may be worth try part setting it to see how the PIR on zone 2 behaves when set on part set, it may be set up as an entry and allow you sufficient time to unset the system
