just pick one up cheaply from ebay... I'd not pay £100 for one. The only reason I have one was to be sure we it was'nt our kit that was faulty be telling the sub to get the line fixed

one is, one isn't You can normally hear adsl on the line, don't see why having a handset that does an alarm helps ?

there need to be whitelist I'd assume most don't know what kit is under what badge & when the products are revised there's a chance it could be sourced from OEM

From the US Your not going to avoid the potential exploits of a blacklisted supplier by avoiding a certain brand , its way too complex

Isn't Honeywell Hikvision OEM? Isn't Dahua & any other kit made in certain Chinese factory's banned for US use ?
