  1. I suspect the cost of you producing a custom lid will probably have premium over CQR producing a custom lid. However the concept of the multi box is a good idea but I don't see that many, the largest user & only one I can think that has a custom lid is secom ?
  2. Cqr intrega was the 1st complete plastic Ewd I recall...
  3. The earliest accounts I can see (for free) are 1995, turnover of 28 million back in 1988 ish - this was cutting edge
  4. Back in the late 80's / early 90's.... Everybody & their dog would have used a 9800 in a commercial job, ADT or Shorrock, regional co's, independent co's, electrical contractors or private jobs
  5. David Snook scanned from PSI Magazine- PSI Apr 2019.pdf kinda on topic...
  6. ↑ it would appear v5 upwards software supports premier lcd keypads, v6 makes your controls around 17yrs old there is no support for prox tokens on any software version of this product
  7. **Clicks ban button** Sorry Al you'll have to stay as the button has seized up
  8. historically.... (we ain't got enough posters to loose any )
  9. Me? Still monkeying about with alarms, guess it could be worse..... But not sure how!

  12. Sab1045 bell module I fitted these in the past but can't recall who made them, red/ blk goes to a comfort led
  13. I think we'd about finished with them when I started I recall the sticker s being reprinted to suit the size of cequra with a tel. No with a few digits less than today
  14. no its a "scancom" digi unsure of model but dated 1984 ? the trick with bell modules was to leave them in the plastic bag & it stopped most of the rusting
  15. This was removed the other week from a adaptable box in loft, oldest scantronic Digi i recall seeing
  16. IIRC we started buying CQR Cequra's early 1990's, the 1st batch lasted forever.... I can't recall the last anti foam device I removed, I have an old bell module that came down earlier in the yr , I'll pop a pic sometime
  17. their was a foam pedant (cqr ?) which had magnet to keep in vertical, foam or a 1/2 a brick being chucked a the bell would knock it in to alarm there has been all sorts of clever stuff, however the industry is very "price sensitive"
  18. IIRC "Viper foam detector" pcb within plastic case, size of shock sensor IR Led + Receiver below the case Used to FA when the housing filled with webs or bugs ect... Used to FA when it got dark after it had be powered up the 1st time Google has no pics & I've not see one in yrs....

    Hi!

I'd assume it would be simple to achieve with lighting control system... Finding somebody who be willing to pay for it is different matter
  20. lol 1st result in google is TSI from 2006
  21. I was toying with moving over to these- These are the small speaker the large speaker ones haven't turned up yet In the flesh they not any smaller in profile than normal speaker https://www.knightfireandsecurity.com/product/grade-3-internal-sounder-octone/ However starting small with something like the above would still be a significant project...
  22. @gabs an extension speaker in its basic form is just a speaker in a box You need to have mould made & could use a 3rd party to produce a run of plastics Speakers would be bought in, production would be putting leads on ect... assembly & packing As a hobby you'd probably cover your costs... As a business you'd probably loose money
