With regards to CCTV, I'm currently just a personal user who has inherited a 16 channel CCTV system with my new property. I've always been interested in CCTV and wanted to install my own system anyway.

 

With regards to my current system, i'm not happy with the quality of what is installed. Cameras a great in the day but not so great in the night!! It includes 2 PTZ domes.

 

I'm playing with my system and planning on upgrading it but currently researching as much as possible before i do.

 

My parents have also seen my system and want 4 camera system installing, which i've said i'll do  O_O

Why use a 960H DVR if you only put 500-600TVL cameras on?

I'd be looking for at least 700TVL, that Anti-Vandal Vari-focal effio one that DD spotted looks good for the money.
