Have been visiting forum over the last couple of days and have now decided to join. Primarily for recommendations "from people who know their stuff" for a replacement alarm system at home. Long story short, had an installed system for a good number of years which recently died after a power cut. So now am looking to upgrade the panel. Doesn't have to be top specced insurance company approved, as it is more for my peace of mind.

There seems to be a lot of choice in the market place and at present I am drawn to the Scantronic 9561 with the hidden away panel, remote LCD keypad and prox reader.
