Evening chaps, How we doing? I work for installation and maintanence company, mainly worked doing CCTV, however changed companies and now trying to get my head around alarm panels. Company I work for used Aritech panels so no doubt will Ben looking to advise tips along those lines.

Good evening everyone . Just signed up, I'm a fairly decent DIYer, hoping to gain some knowledge on my parents alarm system so I can have a go at fixing it. I installed my own wired ADE system a few years back and it's been ok, but have a feeling this will be a tad more difficult? Will post in the relevant section later, to see if anyone can assist me. Hello, Looking like an interesting forum; currently have a collection of Visonic parts mainly eBay purchases now looking at making them all work. I've won as apart of some of my purchases a Visonic PowerMaster 360. The first real issue so far is default installer code. I've factory reset the panel, can access it via Power Master configuration version 1.0.3.04 using the default 'user' (in some manuals) code of However when I come to entering either the master code, or installer code of it's throwing me a 'wrong password' error. I recently found that the keypad on my XM alarm was not working. I have changed the battery and managed to get it working. After doing this I decided to do a walk test to confirm that everything was working. Everything is working except zone 4 which has a PIR on the landing and a PIR in the kitchen. The PIR's both flash when I walk past but do not trigger the alarm. Is it likely to be a faulty PIR? How do I find out which one? Thanks
