Big hello to all from Roger of RJB Security Systems in Bristol. Just happened upon this forum by accident! Ex-police office and have been running my own company in Bristol for about 15 years, we cover from Thames Valley to West Wales and Gloucester to Cornwall. Approved by the SSAIB as our preferred Inspectorate and fitting mostly Menvier Networker range of control panels, from TS690 to TS2500. Have a preference for "iD" technology and screened cable but very occasionally fit Class 3 or Class 6 wireless systems. Also do some CCTV and access control but intruder alarms form the backbone of our business. We have a good working relationship with a number of SSAIB companie…

Hi, I have spent some time looking round the site and I can only say I wish there was something similar a few years ago. I am a Sales Manager for a company that specialises in CCTV, Large Access and some Intruder. I have done my time at Modern, Chubb and //.National Installer.// and am now in the real world of a smaller (we like to think more personal) company. Have worked in the CS/ARC, Service (Engineer), Sales and Training so have been about a bit. Anyway, cant really offer a wealth of knowledge on any specific systems but I will try to help where I can on anything. Keep up the good work. Andy

Hi all, As you may be able to tell by the name, I'm actually a Locksmith. Quite often though when I'm out on jobs I get asked about different alarms, which one's better and all of that. So I thought I would start investigating them again. So many alarms to choose from, which one is better at doing the job that the customer requires....... You can say that the reason I've joined is get a bit more knowledgable on the topic. Most of the alarms we use in Australia are the same as what is used in England and else where, just a bit of repackaging, example: the Networx range is run by Direct Alarm Supplies over here. I've got the defaulting methods for this range but I don't kno…
