I was recommended this site by our Field Troubleshooter and the MD of Wilsden Security. I have to admit to being astounded by the content and shear size of this site. Full of fascinating information, and rather funny stories !! In case you hadn't guessed from the signature, I work for an International Manufacturer. Myself? I co-ordinate the Customer Support Helpline for technical and sales enquiries. Keeps me out of trouble I suppose. Will definitaly be ear-marking this site for regular visits, and as a method of keeping in touch with the real security world. DD243 Rocks !! . . . . . not !! Roll On EN50131 !! . . . . . yeah sure !! Later dudes !!

i have been in various electronic feilds since 1972 communications, security, door entry, and fire in brief. i am very big in fire to the highest levels, i have security links and cctv. i believe in a free an open market of info and manuals as the difference, for me, is in how the info is applied. better a average engineer with a good manual than no manual at all. As for users well if they can work it out well and good if not its more money for me to fix. the vague referrences to users comprimising systems, well its there system, most of this is majors using scare tactics to keep their monopoly of **** service, at high cost.
