He everyone, I've been in the industry for a while now and am soon to be joining //.National Installer.//. Does anyone else work for //.National Installer.// and can anyone tell me what they're like to work for? I've mainly got experience with indtruder but have also done fire, CCTV, and access. Know loads about Gardtec panels (840 - what a great panel) Scantronic, ADE. Hate the Ademco 4110 UXM if I get caught short without the manual. Anyway, if anyone would like any help, I'd like to be of assistance. Great site, Dave. Warwick

Hello everyone, I am acutally not an alarm engineer, more like a computer engineer. I run a small computer buiness, I do servicing, sell hardware etc. I just installed my first alarm on my home/office, hence why I am here. I had so much fun I am tempted to change my buiness plan. But I have no time to spare as it is. Oh yer, I am actually a qualified chemist too, although I don't think that will help he much. Talk to you all laters. Pete

Hi everyone, just a quick hello to all. Had a quick look around the site - looks fab. Will be visiting loads in future hopefully to give and receive advice on certain areas. I'm in the Plymouth Area, been installing for nearly 11 years in total, had our own business now for 18months and things are going extremely well. Anyone else near to Plymouth?

I work for a security manufacturer......ie cable and bellboxes etc and I am in Customer Support. I look for new businesses, new Installers etc and research the net for anything interesting in the security market hence I found this site. I would quiet like to stay on if I may and join in but I understand if I am not allowed Kind regards to all Linda

Hi ya Paul here(fusion security bham) Background Started off 11 years ago as an electrican worked for a few different firms all of which ripped me off in someway or other. Then about 3 years ago i started for a small alarm company dropped about 8 grand a year in pay but added so much more to my scope over my two years with them.To say the least they robbed me of my last two weeks money and 2 weeks call out which wasnt much 3.95 extra a day I know i know works out to about 16 pound a week trust me the wages were'nt much better:-).So i took the leap and started fusion up not sure how the name came about but i offen add con at the front.Steve is right not eveyrone wants …
