Battery charging voltage on a non intelligent panel (which I assume this is) should be 13.69 - 13.75 v assuming normal ambient temp. Check charge current and charge voltage on load. Best way to test this is with a partially discharged battery and again when fully charged. I'd be concerned if load reading was below 13v and below 13.5 ish when fully charged An intelligent charge panel will ramp up voltage depending on charge state so harder to test

I can understand the ť and r thing as you could expect transmit to connect to receive etc but it isn't in this world Battery testing. You can get battery testers but load testing a standby battery can cause premature failure. But is a valid test. The best way to load test is to load it depending on its size for a period of time. Ie not seconds or a few minutes. Then confirm the voltage is OK during the test. Doubt it's worth buying a battery tester fo diy main just for this purpose. As 6 I would of been concerned the battery charge circuit was knackered esp if 5v its pro ably split and got acid everywhere

I'm saying it needs a service as a minimum that will also confirm if anything is damaged (it will be but maybe not fully failed yet) Like a car etc it needs serving and you can either get it done or service it yourself

There isn't a universal type ie the security of the system needs to be maintained. Also not all panels support all peripherals I'll have a look at the docs and see if the Eaton fob is supported. Iirc that's a newer fob for the ion

This is what id focus on vs being a bug. Get some log entries look at actual facts etc Ive tested Orisec Detectors at length (granted not panels) and not found serious issues. Trus the hardware to start with, get yourself an audit trail and log and it may wall be obvious. It Usually is. No manufacturer is daft enough in the professional security world to release unstable code. They would be removed from the market in that heartbeat.

It seems the user code has changed then. You will need a valid user code to access the system. I doubt this is a big as such unless it's pre release hardware. Do you have other user codes fobs etc?

What happens if you use a use code. An engineer shouldn't normally be used to silence an event. Whensilenced what is the event flagged as

I wouldn't of thought a bulb unless halogen would get hot enough quixh enough

Are you sure you have a 'bug' Yes there are bugs in all firmware but not usually found. What is the issue?

If its ac noise, possible but I doubt likely it's an act 1313 filter you need not a psu replacement
