  1. I still don't get it How is it reporting battery failure on a wired sounder ?
  2. So better for the fire maintainer to provide the outputs and door man does the rest right ?
  3. As a newbie or chancer as some might say I assuming you need to fit something in-between the lock and the controller , this way controller has no choice that doors are released ???
  4. Lol be serious it has to be scrapped realistically
  5. Scrap I reckon
  6. Is it flashing starts ? Perhaps you connected battery wrong way round at first ? I would disconnect battery and the mains , then reconnect mains and battery see what happens
  7. Dude Seems you basically wouldn't buy an alarm altogether as you don't pay? Local engineer, even if you paid him £200, will service it give you codes and then won't maintain it in future unless you pay whatever he charges for call outs and servicing or do some your self And that will be cheaper than you installing new
  8. Maybe But we only hearing one side right ? Nothing new with what your saying, plenty of customers get unecessarily fed up with there installers for some reason or other ....
  9. How much does the installation company want for the work? Will be interesting if your comip and smart com fails , not easy to fix
  10. Doesn't the enforcer use it? Dimension? Galaxy range
  11. Faulty expander module? All new ? Or eBay? Or panel fault can't see what else as it's simple ribbon cable Last option default the whol panel is best
  12. What you do then? Builder ?
  13. I assume edge , selecting ie mode doesn't do it ?
  14. Overall it's scrap though.... Get new
  15. Other than that did you complete power down when adding it on ? I still think firmware is to old on panel though picture of version?
  16. Maybe your expander firmware version is to new for the panel firmware? Just guessing Swb you the visionic man
  17. What about poles dude ? Head testing etc First time I used I thought this is handy Until you have to pay for them lol
  18. Try different SIM
  19. Understair cupboard?
  20. Basically you want to DIY it Buy stuff from UK, then from us and hope it works together instead of going with adt and signing up If you meant something else in all of the long story , that's all I could figure from it.....
  21. As swb says stick a wire on it , and if you ever want to disable tampers some bells require to be connected temporary to 0v or something like that , then you can open bell without the siren going off or something like
