  1. Actually opto relays , I couldn't be bothered to see what and how they work in the panel other than that optical relays work similar
  2. James is pointing out that your connecting to a relay which unless wired correctly will do nothing Assuming the relay is triggered on alarm the no can stay in the bell trigger , but the c (common needs to connect to negative or minus or -ve ) that way when the alarm triggers it will connect the bell trigger to the negative it requires to ring it Strobe I am not sure , the other outputs are programmable perhaps and you need to look at menus what they can do
  3. Fault in panel? Rf rx/tx switched off faulty
  4. So I assume a plain switch at the DVR end allows everything to work , £10 or so Then just stick the other router on another output for wifi
  5. Yes but a version that can do that , should be able to use existing sensors
  6. To be honest I can't see how you will do it Basic panel with no area settings??? Home mode and delay1 ,2 etc seem to only have certain options What are you arming on home mode ?
  7. So home mode , you don't want to arm the front door only other sensors get armed?
  8. Option 62 b exit 0 timed low tone 1 instant set 2 silent 3 copy A settings or something like that Maybe
  9. There is a way to make it sound like a light weird buzz or silent I think I just thought I would comment but can't remember how It is in the manual under b option settings
  10. I just wondered how complicated this would get if two different maintainers....
  11. I still don't get it How is it reporting battery failure on a wired sounder ?
  12. So better for the fire maintainer to provide the outputs and door man does the rest right ?
  13. As a newbie or chancer as some might say I assuming you need to fit something in-between the lock and the controller , this way controller has no choice that doors are released ???
  14. Lol be serious it has to be scrapped realistically
  15. Scrap I reckon
  16. Is it flashing starts ? Perhaps you connected battery wrong way round at first ? I would disconnect battery and the mains , then reconnect mains and battery see what happens
  17. Dude Seems you basically wouldn't buy an alarm altogether as you don't pay? Local engineer, even if you paid him £200, will service it give you codes and then won't maintain it in future unless you pay whatever he charges for call outs and servicing or do some your self And that will be cheaper than you installing new
  18. Maybe But we only hearing one side right ? Nothing new with what your saying, plenty of customers get unecessarily fed up with there installers for some reason or other ....
  19. How much does the installation company want for the work? Will be interesting if your comip and smart com fails , not easy to fix
