  1. you can't really be a proper alarm co. without a team. do you really want to deal with the day 2 day shit of being an alarm co. ? My top tip is to trade under a name which does no define what you do- so no to Grant Alarms or Grant Fire & Security maybe to The Eddie Grant Group or Purple Pelican Ltd Good luck

  9. Your underinsured by 85% ? Assuming there is something very wrong with the alarm, what does your contract state in regards to maxuim damages? Something like 10 times the value of the alarm ? Your alarm co. will have a comphesive specialist insurance cover for this type of event, what do you have other than the Arc report ?

  11. so, a reflex pir on average house alarm circuit will read around 20Ω measured at the controls. whats on these problem system eg - 3 keypads, 2 external sounder sounders, 7 pirs, 4 door contact a PA button & sound bomb ? you sealed the hole in the pir case & where the cable enters cable come though the hole ? you measure induced ac ? these reflexes on brackets or screwed to the wall, how many screws are you using.... whats day / alarm current ?

  16. iirc 4 for data + 2 for power if you only have 4 you'll need to power locally

    if the chip is in a socket you may be able to replace it if soldered to the board, default the system & reprogram, decent battery & 1313 may help if your break it completely there probably another pcb on fleabay
