One alert services company has offered us to install their wireless ****. It is on their responsibility so it couldn't bother me less when it does not function as they promise. Does anyone have any experience with that product?

This is vague! It's a grey metal RKP with I think with a red and a green button on (didn't get a close look). Quite old looking and worn so guessing this kit has been around for a while. It was in a currys (electrical shop not takeaway) if that helps? The front of the RKP seemed to slide over the top of the backback and was secured by a screw on the right hand side. Any ideas??

Hopefully someone can help with this, i went out to a job today to program a Galaxy 3-144 which has been installed by another engineer. My problem is that the panel reports all zones using antimask PIRS as being "Masked" its normally closed state. Looking at the zone resistance its around 2k and doesn't change even when the PIR activates. PIR wiring i thought, however after checking the engineers wiring it seems to be as per the instructions. I've never used Antimask before and mainly use Galaxy grade 2's, so i'm not 100% sure what i need to be checking. PIRS are IntelliSense DT-7550C UK Dual TEC with Antimask. There are 10 terminals as follows: Trouble Tamper …

Guys, bit of help advise needed... Wiring up the panel in my hew home, i have a Galaxy 60 and 3 amp Smart PSU, I have 2 Novagard 2Gs, both fully loaded with Batteries, when doing customers jobs with 2 bells, i run one SCB and the other SAB. As i have 4 Amps to play with i want to run both bells in SAB mode, what is the best way to do this... Shoudl i run both the bells off the main panel, and everything else from the Smart PSU, bearing in mind i also have a piezo strob and a Extension speaker to run. The rio outputs Are up to 400ma, so i take it would have to trigger the bells from 2 seperate outputs. If running from a rio or Smart PSU, how would i wire the tamper re…

Hi I am using the SAS31 programming software to administer the Sintony 410 intruder panel and upon initial installation you have to load up the product (*.PR0) files into the system. I have the file named SI41UUF7.PR0 but it is asking for a file named S141UUE1.PR0 before I can go any further (this is to do with the flash version the panel is running). If anyone has any idea where this file can be found (as it is Christmas and Siemens tech support are closed until the New Year) I would be very grateful. You can either contact me via this site or call me on 07971 589549 and all assistance would be very welcome. As you can probably tell I am quite desperate for this help…

Menvier have now produced their M800 and M1000, though no iD versions available as yet and the M3000, (to replace the TS2500), is now not scheduled for production in the immediate future. Have you used any of the new panels? What do you think? Do you like the new menu structure? Do you think the M800 is user friendly, especially as a domestic panel, replacement for the TS690? Have you tried the Downloader remote diagnostics?
