Hello everyone,. Time to introduce myself, been having a wee look on here from time to time, looks like the extra tech help if I'm ever stuck could be handy! Been in the trade since I left school in 1997, worked for a family friend for 11 years then went to work for a good friends company to get paid off two years later (the joys of people bumping payment and other companies undercutting doing cash jobs!!), .....so took the bull by the horn and went out on my own, 18 months of sub contracting across Scotland's central belt and alot of hard work to find my own client base, got my SSAIB sorted last month. Already help a couple of companies down south for Scotlands centr…

Hello to all on tsi. After 22 years within the security installation business, I was recently made redundant from a company (after 12 years service and whom shall remain anonymous) so now I have started my own! I am now looking to carry out subcontracting work on any small or large CCTV, Access Control or Intruder systems. I am based in the South of England but will travel if required. Look forward to hearing back from anyone that can throw some work my way...

I believe in sharing knowledge freely Because over the years you gain much knowledge, why not share it? It's no use in the grave. Check out my CCTV System Design educational site. I do promote the use of 3D CCTV Design software and stand behind it by using it in all my designs. …

Just out of interest, we have just started offering the visonic powermaster 10 & 30 panels, what are your thoughts on these panels? does anyone else use these? We had been installing powermax completes & express panels and have installed the odd domonial as well! This is the first time I have used a forum and I am hoping this will be a good source of useful information to build my bu…
