Hi All, I am loking for some advice and I am hoping to tap into the expertise on this forum. Basically I am looking to change career within the security industry. I am 33 and have been in and around the security industry for about 15 years. I started in wholesale and have moved through a number of positions that have incorporated mainly sales and technical support roles. For the last few years I have been employed in a managerial position for a leading manufacturer. I am now completely bored and in need of a new challenge and have decided to free myself from the office and start a career in installation. Hi all, my name is Steve, I have been in the security industry for 16 years now. I have worked at a few companies installing & maintaining CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems, automated gates, barriers, bollards, doors and also nurse call systems. After working for others for many years, 4 years ago I decided to start my own business with a good friend of mine and things are going very well and we are now gradually expanding. I hope to be able to help out where I can on here.

just thought i'd introduce myself. i'm Luke, i'm a member of a few other forums such as http://firealarmengineers.com and cctvforum.com. but the main reason i joined here is because i got fed up with the huge amount of clueless DIY'ers on the CCTV forum spamming it up and will use this forum to replace it (hopefully) see you around the forum!
