Yes technically "wrong" too. Cut the cable and you have no siren.

Even as a second line of defence, on low risk it's a waste of time fitting Yale DIY IMO.

There's the thing SWB: It's our opinion, we know it's not really up to the job but the DIY sheds are still going to keep churning it out and the punters are going to keep buying it.

Joe public see's the name Yale on the box & thinks it must be good and I can fit it myself without paying an installer, so I've got more money to spend on my Booze, Fags, Dope or whatever else is the in thing for them. Even seen them fitted to a few business premises lately.

    It's one way wireless and not worth the electricity to power it. Just as effective to throw some dummies up with flasher modules if you want cheap.
