  1. Id solder and heat shrink. Melting temp of ali is quite high compared to a soldering iron. Its not copper pipe you dont need a blow torch
  2. and spin it a few times if its somewhere cold/damp
  3. it will melt the varnish of the windings, but id assume the reg will fail first, taking the br with it, then the tx ideally that will cause an mcb trip, but if your on rewireable fuses who knows. Been many appliancies caused issues
  4. the tx will survive the charger wont, have a look at the bored(sic) Its designed for an assumed load, You cannot expect a budget pro panel to take a proper load. Also yes a tx will wear out, if you overload it, they have a design temp and load
  5. A flat 7 Ah will want more power to recharge than the psu can provide unless very lightly loaded
  6. As a pro alarm man of many years you know what really hybrid is, im assuming however you mean its like a combination of 2 panels, menu wise? Also Id say Mr h is one that has worked on more variants of.hit than me, so I wouldn't discount his hybrid ear
  7. you can take a live stream from them, certainly jpg but iirc mpeg4 too. I don't recall the url used but there is a many docs online for it. I wrote an app many years ago for a customer that pulled the streams in
  8. bear metal I use sme for serious stuff, as u know tsi and sia runs on it ive moved from xen to proxmox for the virtual win 7 ones
  9. don't know the panel, but os test comms for testing proper comms, not the app?
  10. as above you shouldn't have a resistor in the panel and imho not needed unless long runs on a busy line. id take the rio and connect local to the panel. If it stays off line its goosed
  11. Give it 240 and wire the relay to the bell output. Or Give Texecom a call Both products are under Texecom now
  12. ill go with the vote next one needs to be what to call it?
  13. yeah 13A fuses take some blowing id get it looked at urgently
  14. There should be power at the keypad with the mains off, you either have a battery, fuse or main pcb problem. A factory reset wont help in these cases
