Accenta 8 -- Tamper LED leading to head scratching
Well no one is going to try and circumvent the bell I suppose, and if the bell isnt working, well I doubt they will get burgled any way LOL. I wonder if that was the sort of conversation that went on at VW " Well no-one is really bothered about global warming "

Accenta 8 -- Tamper LED leading to head scratching
The link has just proved that you do not have a tamper circuit, if the bell doesnt ring on test it means the 0v is not getting to the bell, if the bell works then you have no tamper return, which could be simply because your tamper switch's are not closed

NSI certs
Unless your changing the grade, and the insurance co requires it then again no need. If we installed a system to 4737 ten/twenty years ago and then upgraded the panel, we would prog the panel to 4737, and not reissue. However, if it was due to loss of Police response we would have to upgrade accordingly and reissue a new cert.

Anybody know who makes this
Intrinsically safe are made similar to marine grade, both are made for hostile areas intrinsically safe would be bomb proof but also made so that there is no chance of a spark, marine grade would be salt water resistant. Several manufacturers made these types of housings, but if theyre that old the cameras themselves will be low res anyway

NSI certs
If it was a takeover of system installed by another NSI co then it should already have one. If the customer requires an NSI cert for their insurance then you should issue one but you can charge for it. If it is not a customer requirement you can just maintain it without certification. The sames as you can service an automated gate without NSI certification.

Security - fire alarm link
I guess during the day the place is hostile to smokes, and so need it as a heat only. We have a leisure centre that send out one set of messages on the PA system during the day (Staff announcement 51) and another when the place is closed (Get out the place is on Fire) I also guess any burglar breaking in and the Fire alarm goes off is gonna know he has been rumbled BTW welcome Adam

Info on Viper circuit false alarm.
There are several things that could be causing your problem as follows: 1. Auxiliary power failing. Loose fuse or poor connection at the panel down powering the vipers will cause the circuit to go open giving the impression that they had activated. This is why its important to know If the pir were to activate along with the vipers when the system is fully set as this would indicate that it is a power problem. 2. The cables to the vipers may have a fault on them, the fact that you have nt had a tamper fault would suggest that the 24hr loop is okay, if you swap the pair both ends and you start to get tamper faults then you know its the cable. Although it could also be an intermittent short between the tamper and alarm circuit. So if the false alarms continue it still maybe a short between alarm and tamper, To prove this I would remove the wires from the tamper circuit and fit a link, if the fa's stop its a short problem. 3. The panel itself. It could be just the zone or it could be dropping power 4. The vipers. As there is two of them it is very unlikely, but not impossible. My money is on 1 or 2 the detectors seem to work as they should when tested and the panel operates correctly, but an intermittant fault can be difficult to find especially without a multimeter.
