  2. You left with two or three or more choices 1. Call an installer 2. Scrap alarm fit accenta easier to prog 3. Call an installer to tell you it's scrap 4. Call an installer to fit new panel 5. Call an installer to prof it for you 6. Call an installer just to tell you if it's just programming or a scrapper seriously I am not being funny either, has to be programming, faulty board , or sorry to say it "you?" 4yrs old scrap it man I forgot 7 Reply back saying it's sorted
  3. Exit terminator ie what ever is used for exit setting perhaps Why do you think it's a fault code? P1 could just be partion 1 Your trying to guess your way round the panel and your questions will be endless if you installed it you must have the manual its all in there hope it works out or get an installer to sort it for you
  4. Anticode? Set by you on original installer ? It's set for anticode so user can't reset it , hence why you can't get into engineer mode either because perhaps code is incorrect Sorry bit strange really, it's straight forward to programme
  5. Maybe it's wrong code and you locked yourself out? I wonder does engineers access need to be granted before trying to access all menus I don't really know this panel
  6. Possibly as above the relaybhas been programmed to do something under certain conditions or something , if that's possible check what the relay is set to do
  7. We put Mr dd on callout still got a boat!?
  8. Perhaps have some kind of dual option , lol confirmed flood
  9. It's cheap enough to try out I guess, personally I would rip the panel out at this stage But like I said cheap enough to giv. It a go, experiment with door contact , you have one already?
  10. Mct550? But you may need to change panels aswell depends
  11. I think minimum opt for a dialler or monitoring if you can afford it Or hkc panel with on-board options there's a few northerners who install it
  12. Ok depending on how it's setup it's quite expensive via the tap service, granted its only per call or sms which I think via open tap is 50p per sms If they using older o2 or vodaphone centre numbers they are not always reliable I would have thought in that price there was at least a dialler of sorts or and stand alone gsm unit Is that the full detailed quote as it doesn't mention monitoring, I missed it speed reading maybe
  13. Have to disagree about mentally taxing , electrical more Labour intensive , alarms if you knew what some these guys here do with linking systems together and so on you will soon think it's a bit more techinal than you think Unless you stick to basic systems like me, and don't want the xtra headache
  14. How is alarm fitting easier than electrical? You just mean the Labour side yes?
  15. But I don't see how any of this will be good for anpr? Or was it just for visiually trying to read it?
  16. Galaxy is best wired panel imo , but wireless has its quirks
  17. Get a hkc installed built in dialler will give you locations good monitoring options
  18. I Duno Vista always worked for me, bus version , xp pro was ok, win7 update crazy lol
  19. I still on Vista will only upgrade to this because (here I go) hkc software won't work with Vista , does it work with 10?
