Trying to find a maunal to allow me to re-programme & test my scopetronic alarm panel. This panel has a remote keypad.

I have recently moved into a house which has the Advantage ZX6 Alarm System. I have tried ringing a number of companies to try and find out how to reset the code for the alarm but no one seems able to give me any advice. I would feel a lot better if I were in a position to change the code or to be able to change the code periodiclaly. Can anyone help me? Also are they good alarm systems? Thanks MidnightP

im after some help programmin a final set for the front door contact, inhibited zone for the hall pir, also i need to omit zone 6 for a part set also an entry and exit time, these are not too important as 30 second preset is fine. i have a 1999 install manual but cant get hold of a 1996 edition the menu numbers are different so sturgglin. would buy a new one but its for a friend who is am bit skint an i got no spares. any help would be very appreciated

hi, this is my first post, but i've been lurking here a while. just recently taken out 2 galaxy 8 panels (eol) from //.National Installer.// takeovers, which are now gathering dust in my shed. As a scantronic/menvier installer, are these panels any good for domestic work? can anybody send me installation and user manuals so i can have a play? i have pdf boys

Hi All Excellent site!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder if anyone can help?, I'm after an installation manual for an Scantronic 9800 panel. A mate of mine has put in too many keypresses and the panel has come up with an rt code. I don't just want to disconnect the supply at the risk of not getting the panel working again. Any help would be greatly welcomed.. Thanks in advance

I think this alarm could be eight years old. It was last serviced in 1996 in the house I bought 3 years ago. Problem : my alarm keeps setting off I can reset it by entering the security code and reset but it returns to tamper mode. Could this be the battery? and are these easy to fit by a novice, and how much do these batteries cost? Are there any other suggestions to my alarm setting off constantly. Any help would be appreciated Lee

Hi all, My problem is: i bought a galaxy 8 system a few years ago. In the meanwhile, i have built myself a garage. I want to extend the walk-out time, because it takes me longer than 45 sec to drive my car out and lock the gate. I found an Russian engineer-manual on the internet, but translating it, costs me about 35 euro (about 30 dollar). Hiring an local security-company costs me 70 euro (65 dollar) an hour. Because i don't want to pay anything, i want to do this myself. I managed to wire the complete alarm in an hour or 4 without any manual. It's easy as hell. I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A PROPERTY AND CANNOT GET THE DARN CPF2 ALARM TO SET, I THINK THE ELECTRICIAN HAD THE ALARM AND ELECTRIC TURNED OFF AND IT HAS TO BE RESET ??, I CAN HOWEVER MAKE THE THING START BEEPING WHEN I PRESS THE 4 DIGIT KEYCODE THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME TO SET IT. PLEASE PLEASE HELP
