have a veritas r8 installed in a friends house panel has been reset. cannot change the engineer code so assumin it needs the boss code to reset the pcb. was wonderin if there was any way to still program the zones so i can set it up for a part set but to do that i need the menu nubmbers from the 1996 install guide. i have the 1999 edition+user manual just cant find the 1996 manual anywhere.

is there anywhere on the net in could get it from?

If you crash the panel, the factory settings for Part Set are 5,6,7 omitted .If the code is locked you are stuffed.Get your friend to buy a shiney new one , with extra features. :)

No , there is an engineer option to lock the code, and it does just that , even if you default the panel.There are plenty of sites that will sell you a panel online.

The usual price for a veritas online is usually about 50 quid.
