NEED INFO ON HOW TO RESET PANNEL TO DEFAULT AS PANNEL LOCKED OUT. TRIED Defaulting Technique NO AVAIL ? ANY HELP ? :!:

We had alarm fitted in 1998, have got the user guide but no installation/engineer type manual. Have to get alarm fixed as it keeps going off, we had extension built and need to relocate one of the sensors. Engineer wanted engineer code, have no idea, anyone out there can help, I would appreciate. thanks.

Hi all, I've recently bought a new house which has a Advantage ZX6 alarm fitted. The previous owners have left no manuals or any codes to set, reset, reboot or whatever. The house was empty for around 3 months and the electricty was switched off at the mains during this time. All the alarm has on it now is a single green light which I think indicates that the mains is switched on. Also, all the motion dectectors seem to be working. Does anyone have a manual or some tips that would enable me to activate, reset or anything please? All help would be warmly received. Many thanks, Dave.

Can anyone help me please? I am looking for a user manual for the above, I also need to change the battery in the control panel so may need Installer manual as well ? I think that the Bently Symphony Version 3 is quite an old unit, is this info still readily available ? Please help if you can. Many thanks

Unable to enter programming on a Notifier. When you enter a non-valid password in one of these systems, a seven digit HEX number will be generated and displayed by the system. My brothers girlfriend has an optima xm, and she wants to reduce the exit time, it is only a short distance from the panel to the door so she has to wait for ever before it sets. Any idea's

I moved into my house two years ago and found that I had a Pyronix Paragon Plus alarm installed. The previous occupants were tenants and did not know the codes and neither did the estate agent. As someone who works in the electronics I (naively) assumed that the operating instructions would be located in the panel. So I decided to look in the panel, bad move. I set off the tamper alarm and then the outside bell, can't imagine the new neighbours were too chuffed. Using my electrical knowledge I was able to disconnect the bell and the keypad downstairs. I then decided the best course of action would be to contact an alarm company. After trying all the local companies I had …

I've had a new light fitting installed but when the electrician switched off the electricity my Advantage AJ600N alarm went off (and the red 'PA' light is contantly on) and we can't reset it. I don't have a manual but I have a reference sheet. We've tried to enter the current user code and the engineer code without any success. The electrician's disconnected the alarm on the panel and the bell in the outside box. He's advised me to purchase a new system which he will install. I've searched the internet and this site for advice and it seems that my alarm isn't a good system. Should I follow the electrician's advice or is there any way I could reset the system myself?…

HI, I have just moved into a house with an Aritech Advisor 62 panel installed, but old owners left no instructions. I have tried to find this model on the web, but cannot seem to find it. Does anyone know if the model is based on another model number (ie CP32 etc)? Any help would be greatly received! Thanks Giles Ogram

Hi All, New to this group and now understand the frustration of all the FAI home alarm owners! I have a FAI SGIII (all singing all talking) wireless system with remote keys to arm disarm etc. Luckily the units switch metal key and charger was in the main unit so I could still activate the system using one of the three keys. After replacing the batteries in the wireless sensors and the other two remaing remote keys, the only problem now seems to be that the remote keys that had the batteries replaced now do not to register with the main unit anymore even though the leds on them indicate they are working. Would anyone have the manual for the system? FAI/CHUBB are hopel…
