The numbering on my keypad for an Optima xm6 is almost worn out ( I should have changed my number before now) but I need a replacement keypad asap. However would it be possible to fit an illuminated one instead of a straight replacement?

Just installed the Gardtec 500 in my parents house in place of a faulty Optima, I did ask on the forum about both manuals for it and was sent them,but the quality of the text is unreadable and only just about installed it, but carn't give them any user instructions as its impossable to read it,can anybody help with readable manuals,thanks. B)

Hi Does anybody have a copy of the user instructions for the Accenta 8 Mini alarm, I have looked at the ADE website and it only contains the engineer manul. Thanks A

Does anybody out there know which links to cut on a 2 year old CQR optima siren to allow it to go of for longer than 5 seconds. There appear to be 4 links which I guess give different timings for the bell.

Hi, I've moved into a new house and the existing SL Compact Alarm has been power down for about a year (fuse from fised spur removed). When replugging the fuse, the alarm immediately goes off and I don't have the operator or engineer code from the previous owner. Is there a way of clearing the NVM, or resetting back to Factory Default settings ? Any help would be appreciated. Also I'm sure a manual would help at some point in the future if anyone has it in electonic format ? Kind Regards, Paul Sandersfield

Can anyone help? I've recently moved into a new flat and the last thing left to fix is the alarm system (Scantronic 4600). I've tried the previous owner/estate agent but to no avail and the company who installed the alarm have since stopped trading. I'd be grateful if anyone could send me a user manual (all I've managed to find so far is the brochure - I already know what the damn thing looks like!) so i can have a crack at getting it working again. .

I have had to replace the backup battery on my Accenta 6 alarm and i cannot get it back into normal operation. I have: turned off mains power opened panel replaced battery (Alarm sounds) closed panel turned on mains power pressed "Prog" and tried 0000 and 9999 one of which i believe should take me back into engineering mode, but alarm continues. Can someone please help. Regards Gary

Hello - I've had a look here, but I can't find the above manual. Can anyone help? We bought our house and the previous owners took EVERYTHING with them (including the yellow pages, light bulbs and the alarm manual). Intermittently our alarm makes noises (only the panel indoors) and a light for "24 hr" comes on. I don't know what this means! Has anyone got any ideas? Any help muchly appreciated! Elo15e
