Hi I work for a charity that has just moved into offices with an accenta alarm system (it also has a box with Optima G3 above the ceiling) There was a alarm code when we moved in but it was lost in the move. We have no manuals and no way to contact the previous leasers. Any way we can reset or get the alarms system reset?. is there an engineers reset code? Help please

Ive just got the keys to my new house, but the old owners had it reposesed and never left the codes to alarm it or change the codes. Is there a number i can call to reset the system, i have its serial code

Im in the process of purchasing a house that is fitted with a SL Compact Alarm system. The vendor has lost, or wasn't in possession of a manual. The system works fine, she says, however, when you walk past the sensors the alsrm panel makes 'beebing' sounds. Can anybody advise? Regards Rob

moved to house and got Optima XM6 alarm which we cant use. I have moved in about three months ago and there is an alarm fitted to the house but I cannot use it as the previous owner has not got the alarm code number. Is there any way that I re set the system and change the code to one that I can use? The alarm is sitting there redundant and I would be very grateful if anybody could advise me. Many thanks, Doug.

I'd be really grateful if anyone has a manual (or knows how to operate this). There's no make on either the keypad by the door or the main keypad. Happy to pay a few quid or donate to a charity of your choice. Thanks, Jonathan

My FAI Scurity Guard 2's battery failed and it lost it's programming. I have so far been able to get it working to a degree but not fully. Not all the PIR and radios are working. I have seen a few messages in this forum regarding the availability of a flowchart to allow one to setup this unit. Can someone who has this flowchart send a copy to me please? Hiya i have a compact alarm system which was installed when i moved into our house 4 years ago without a manual. It is used everyday with no problems until last night the alarm went off for no reason and now i cant cancel the flashing blue light outside like i normally do with the reset button. Anyone got any ideas as to whats gone wrong thanks !!!!!

Hi I have bought a house that has got Optima XM6 Alarm installed. I have the user code. However, I do not know how to change the code and after changing the code how to st and unset the alarm. I've just moved into a house with an Abacus 8 alarm panel, the previous owners didn't have a code for the unit and therefore neither do i. Is there any way to either find the code or reset it? I could also do with a manual if possible The details on it are Abacus 8 127, V23 8 (from the top of the EEprom chip inside) V235 (or 23S) on the display panel when i power up the system) If it can't be done can anyone recommend a reasonable priced, suitable new unit for a swap out, it seems to be run on passives only,. i'd like to add a remote keypad by the front door too. Any other advice would be useful, i'm not trained directly in alarm systems but have extensive experience…

Help! My parents have a Paragon E panel fitted in their bungalow. I fitted it about 10 years ago and it has been very good but now I need to redefine some zones and want to give it a healthcheck. Has anyone got a copy of the installation manual. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bought a house and the previous owner had a Gardtec 580 installed but unfortunately he's gone senile and has no code for me. Is there any way I can reset to a factory state and use some default code? Surely I don't have to call out an engineer for something that should be straightforward like cutting power and changing a jumper or whatever? I've looked for installation manuals or service manuals (rather than user manuals) but all the sites that offer them are subscription sites and it's not like I'll be doing this weekly (I hope!)
