User Manuals

Hi all, I have a JSB Regent as it was there when I purchased the house back in December. Everything works fine, but I am having problems setting the alarm for specific areas, I think I have 8. Does anyone have a manual or advise where I might get this info? Best Regards Alan.

Hi there I work for //.Large National Installer.// in the Isle of Man. I was wondering if anyone could give some pointers - basics on the series 3000 by modern alarms? Its by no way and means a Galaxy afterall!!!! Basically, i need to know how to put it into engineers - i have the code for our area but there is a specific way of doing it. I also need to know how the hell to turn off chime. There are two of these panels in my area - both have the final set to chime. there is no paper work in my local office for this. I've recently moved into a new house which has a Karisma ID Intruder Alarm. There are no stickers on the control panel as to who installed it and the writing on the alarm box on the outside wall has worn away. Tried unsuccessfully to buy a User Manual from various companies. I'm willing to pay for the instructions if someone can send me them. Many thanks s

Few days ago somebody tried to brake into my house. Got an alarm unit Veritas 8C from my uncle and I have problems installing it as I have no manuals. If somebody can mail me these. Thanks

Hi - I had an alarm system installed and today managed to screw up my atempts to set my alarm. This now needs an engineer reset. As my engineer retired, he left with me his manual which I since cannot locate. Can anyone help me with this? The control panel, if it helps, has four numbers - 9930. TYVM!

We have just moved into our new house which has an Optima XL6 alarm. We have the password/alarm code, but would obviously like to change it, and know if there is anything else we can set/use. Does anyone out there have an electronic copy of a manual, that they could send me? On a second note, when we press the buttons to arm/disarm the alarm, it appears to stick/repeat (ie - we press a number once, but it makes the sound as if we pressed it two or three times). Hi, I have a burglar alarm and it was installed before we bought the house. I need some work done on it but have no manual - needs to be an installation manual. The only details on the alarm are Equaliser 3, no other names or seriel numbers at all. Any ideas on where I might get one??? Thankyou!
