I am a cctv installation engineer and would like to go into access control, buglar alams and fire alarm instalation but cant find where to get manuals or sites to help me know how to do this installations or wirings. I wold appriciate someone give me a site which i can go and learn or if you have any manuals to assist me with Thanks

Hello I'm trying to obtain the engineering manual for an AFA Minerva Alarm panel. Unfortunately the previous service contractors left the panel in a bit of a mess when they tried installed a new dialer. I say tried, as they never managed to get the Scantronic 8400 to function. Also I can't find any indication of the model of the panel, it's my guess that the last contractors scratched out the info as there appears to me filed marks on the front cover. From what I've read about the AFA Minerva series, not many models where made, any idea how to obtain a model number from this system and a manual. Thanks Regards Rich B

Hi -sorry I'm not an installer just a confused user hoping you could hlp. We've just moved into a house with no instructions for the alarm. The card in the control box says Gardtec 360 - but the little sticker on the card says G/Tec 370 11/2001. I tried the gardtec website and was redirected to www.riscogroup.co.uk - but the lowest number range is the Gardtec 480 series Do you have user manual you could forward to me please Ideally we wanted our alarm system to be 24 hr monitored - but //.Large National Installer.// have said to do that they would have to fit one of there own systems and have quoted us

Manuals required to identify model and current wiring to make an easy swap on a beaten up 8 Way door entry system. I have identified most of the equipment and wiring but want to be sure of exisiting wiring layout before trying to replace kit. Trying to avoid rewire as the wiring seems healthy just a kicked in intercom at the front door letting the system down at the moment. It is a Bitron Video (desceptive name as it a speech only system) 8 buttons, no service button metal surround with plastic buttons. The transformer 12V AC looks alot like the videx modular kit. Any manuals would be handy to identify this unit. Kind Regards Phil

Hello I have acquired a property with an alarm fitted that is about 14 years old. I have no manual of any type for the system. It has been giving trouble with a few days. Does anyone have a manual for a Scopetronic Home Guard. I can find no markings on the main panel as it has been overpainted. Thanks.

just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem as i just have with a scanronic 500r (radio) panel will not provide a adequate negative trigger to operate a sd1 dialer.... or is it just that the dialer is faulty?
