What are the comfort LED's doing?

Have you triggered it with a bell test or giving the trigger a negative.

Comfort LED's are normal, alternating between the left and right LED's inside the box.

On the keypad, if I go to Engineer Utils > Bell Test > On, the bell correctly sounds. Same for strobe when I test. This is the strange thing. The wiring must check out as the bell works when testing from the keypad respectively?

Did you factory default the panel on initial power up?

Good question. I did not, assuming a brand new panel out the box would have an erased memory?

If you swap the bell and strobe terminals in the panel does the bell sound and the strobe not activate?

Great idea, I will try this when back on site.

since 30 years ago or whatever....

most 4737 / g2 bells on little jobs will have been wired at panel end by adding +/- then shorting the ring & return together before putting all the wires in the panel

I have the same problem the bell test and strobe test all work correctly. And when the alarm is activated the bell doesn’t sound on the outside but the strobe works fine. Can you help in correcting this

So you've proven the wiring and that it's likely the programming...

Yes, you should always default them from new.
