Basics of control panel

It is one of the most advanced and robust products on the market that puts the fear of god into most engineers in the uk.

It is for the cream engineers only to touch, all others need to run in the opposite direction.

Seriosly?

In the UK market space yes, not in Europe and Austraila. That's nothing to do with the product, it's to do with most engineers being too thick to use it. That's why they brought out the advisor advanced. They dumbed it down to being a cd panel so Chubb could install them.

Yep. There are many thinks it can do that other panels can't do. It reminds me a lot of the Europlex 3GS in some ways.

Yeah right, just the Americanised menu structure that throws ppl, bit like prosys. You wouldn't use them if you didn't have UDL. ;)

Say it enough and you might believe it, its just not set out as you would expect so most companies have no desire to retrain their engineers on how to use a foreign panel.

What does it do that other can not?

There is nothing americanised about it and the panels origins are Australian, as a product called Challenger. It's was an access control system that had intruder added into it. It did have a short lived existence in the US as Alliance but it only sold well in Europe and Australia so it was dropped.

What in the menu structure makes you think it's American. Does it say have a great day as you leave service mode?

There are many things you can do with it that its competitors can't do. If you're interested I can write you a list?

Australianised then lol. Yes a list would be useful.

You dodged the fact you wouldn't use it if you didn't have UDL. ;)
