    I assume its like a vibration sensor but I'd expect noise on the cables to cause issues at 1ms

    If its a relay output marked nc then I would set at 300ms and 1 pulse Do you have the manual for the detector?

    They were magnetic sensitive so had to be away from that. Also weren't supposed to extend the white leg so shutters, sealed stuff etc 'could' be an issue

    If its not doing anything and it has 12v at the keypad terminals I'd say you have either blown it or its doa

    Check there is data getting to the keypad. Disconnect all keypad connections and test it on the cp on a short temp wire

    It is worrying how cctv seems to be the ideal for all, but when something happens it rarely is. Hopefully people will ask a security professional their opinion just before the hot place freezes over. Then we will all be tarred with the same brush as nest and ring. Isn't it brilliant marketing

    Eng manuals are only on the trade side. Batts depend on device the contacts are different to the passives to the bell etc

    also in EN a circuit has to perform certain actions within a set time. 10 seconds or twice wouldn't meet that requirement so technically any insurance, certification and claims to compliance could be void

    But it's still a recognised brand. It's assumed im assuming that makes it better than the professional stuff. As Pete has said previously 'wonder why b&q etc don't have a yale bell on them' good job they have a decent system protecting all that yale stock....

    Yes but those outputs can't drive anything they are pretty much logic states. You need to add a wireless transmitter for the system it is to be used on to relay to the house

    X y problem? They are designed to be connected to a wireless transmitter. Then use the contacts on the receiver to drive your wired sounder unit
