  1. Exactly goncall. Especially the gaffers. Expect some abuse and pm's later lol
  2. If I was you boss and you tried to blackmail me I would tell you to fek off!
  3. Good luck pse. You will pass no probs as you can tell you are a pro outfitt.
  4. I miss old George from ssaib. Was our inspector for years and A1 at all aspects. Just a shame when new inspector came along we were reported by a couple who got us to install a 4 cam system. His wife had worn out the DVR remote buttons in 2 weeks as she was on it all the time as he was at the rigs. They got a wee ned (builders son) through our system and he was convicted. Yet still our inspector made us meet him onsite to go through things with mr and mrs of their nuts. I met him on site and after 5 mins when all had agreed we installed to spec I walked out as our job had been done and what they wanted would cost. There was more none sense and on the next inspection he asked " so has mr and mrs ? Contacted you back?" I said no then he said and his words "I would have ignored them before it reached that stage" It was his feking fault this happened... Now there is no bull I worked for Chubb none sense, we get him in, have a few smiles then get out please. He knows it aswell!
  5. When working on the void property houses in the Bradford riots I saw one of our guys getting his teeth smashed out by a metal tube.... Nice set of teeth he has now! Was in Glasgow before a Scotland game and a guy walked in after a good tanking to the front teeth and used a pint of lager as mouthwash... Jesus.
  6. One of my mates is in lanzarote and maintains ex pats swimming pools. Pulls in about 400 euros a week. Then on the side he install cameras to the local restaurants, pubs and clubs for extra dosh. Supposedly they are crying out for CCTV over there.
  7. But a big welsh burd from the valleys as they say! Tbh she was a nice lass and drunk us scots boys under the table...... I'm sure I ended up under the table with her one night lol. As for being on call, not really had much this year tbh. I was ready to stay in Magaluf and had a job lined up when I was 23 working on maintaining pools but had to come home to sort a few things out. Never went back and the guy out there is living in luxury now. Should have just stayed out there.
  8. Can't really remember jumping as it was the 13th hour into a booze sesh but the boys I was with said if the concrete post wasn't there it would have been an epic dive. Charlotte Church plus 10 stone but every hole was a goal in those days lol! Things you do when your young and free.
  9. Right Driller!! About 10 years ago I was in a club in Magaluf when I decided to jump of the first floor balcony into the foam below. This was to impress the many burds in their bikinis below. The landing was a good one but I never measured the skid and I hit my head of a concrete post causing small chips in my front teeth. The head was sorted at hospital but I never bothered about my teeth. You can't see the damage from the front but behind the tooth. Now try are very sensitive especially when the hygienist gets her way with the scraper thing. Is it a nerve thing again? A fat welsh burd was well impressed with the jump though!!!
  10. On the bevy oxo? I would rather just book the sales rep to come up and gave a one to one. Luxrite were up yesterday and I was impressed by them tbh. Good looking kit and the sales rep was spot on with info and knew his products.
  11. IMO the alarm engineer should have defaulted the system and reprogrammed.
  12. Yep as Peter says. Agree price and he can sign a worksheet. I would pay him his hours then tell him your looking for another subby as you will not put up with that.
  13. I worked with my old man starting up and it was the toughest 4 years. We were doing void alarms and screening for councils and our aim when the money came in was to move onto residential, commercial CCTV and alarms Luckily it all worked out but thinking back the hard graft we had to do it was brutal and the out of hrs callout would be 4 or 5 times a night and more at the weekends with the little scroats and junkies breaking into the voids. The Bradford riots were a real treat to be involved in with alarms going of everywhere in the Manningham estate and we just had to give up and return to the destruction the next day. Ireland was also a nasty place where the estates ruled what went on and the Shankhill Road was a nightmare so you never went there after 3pm. SSAIB approval came along and we have never turned back. Now we have 9 staff and everything has settled down. The void property work was given up and we have contracts in place for the next 5 years. Now that my old man is semi retired, a lot of the responsibility has been put on myself and it is good but it is hard to seperate work from family life. I also made a lot of sacrifices to build up the company with my dad and didnt see my family as i was down south which i regret in a way but it has been worth it in the end. I hope to give it all for the next 15 years and sell up, get out of this shithole of a country and do something abroad hopefully in Gran Canaria lol! You never know what is round the corner though.
  14. We have a Norbain account and if your stuck i could order one for you Richard.
  15. 50 Alarms giving you trouble out of 500 is not very good if you ask me. Come on somebody has to say it............they are junk!
  16. Cant wait untill you have 500 of these systems out lol!
  17. The first alarm i installed was a ADE 6 zone panel. The oldest panel i have seen is a 17 year old A&G Diplomat which we still service as the customer will not replace it. We have around 40 A&G panels still working. It was Scottish Power who used to fit them and did not fit them well tbh!!
