Thank god for that as I thought £8.50 was to high....lol
Just make sure you get an order and all info is stated. If not then walk away and let another idiot get the work as they won't get paid.
As James said. Always obtain a PO outlining what the work is and who is providing the equipment, hours of work, total cost of job and terms of payment. Without a PO we would not do any works involved untill received.
If you have a van and all tools I would say £175 local work and any work beyond 20 miles £215
The last sub I did back in January was £190 a day and was for the 5 days.
Just make sure you get everything in writing and a P.O for the job detailing what it involves etc and when you will get paid. Even if the job involves a close friend etc get everything in writing and signed off.
FastAlarmsProtection is our name a fitting Yale is our aim..
4 installs a day and 5 year contracts is our pay.....and puts the rest of the inspectorate companies out the game!
Nope. It's the way forward in this industry.
Customer sees Yale in B&Q and then sees the bell on my van offering install then 5 year contract....no mess and installed within 2 hours. Easilly do 4 a day..... Cha Ching!
FFS AlarmScot! You for independence....?
England were unlucky tonight imo but most of their players are on more than 80k a week and I would expect more tbh.
I currently use the Gardtec 600/601 for hybrid on new installs and takeovers.
On all bigger sites with monitoring the 601 is installed.
Have a few Agility out there that are good now but have been using the Enforcer panel for complete wireless.
The cost of a bigger system is not a lot tbh.
Fire detectors are the same as any other detector wired EOL.
Tbh if that's what you want and you have the guy to do it then he should be able to do the 2 wire install....not using resistors and wire everything at panel end. If you have all cables going back to panel then get the job done right for a wee bit extra cash.
Have you run 8 core to each zone from the panel end?
If so I would recommend a bigger panel with expander module to have each zone on their own.
Maybe a Scanny I ON if your installer fits the scanny as their panel of choice.
