We installed these panels in void properties with transmitters about 10 years ago. Mossgreen, manningham, south shields, thank god I don't do this anymore. You can't default without code but can UDL in to see code.

I would look at kpsystems.com. They are a big distributor in Africa.

Euromini Alarm Sensor Problem
Alarm Protection replied to Alice Goody's topic in Detector Queries (Public)
Tamper spring on sensor, fault on contact, EOL not right if this has not been ok since install. Is it when you open the door it tampers? -
With the power supply in the loft I think it's for the powermax bell but it still transmits wireless.
-
Iv never had a problem with pushing buttons on a Risco alarm keypad unless it's been 10 years and used everyday. What keypad is your favourite RFS? I'm intrigued by this observation.
-
What equipment has 3rd party approval? Risco wireless with the 490,600 has been fault free for years now. We have to wire in bell and RKP but no probs at all for a long time. The enforcer is another panel that is good and does what it says. I still see the Risco 490 etc as an installer kit as you can buy them DIY but the programming is so different from the mainstream panels out there.
-
We have a lot of Gardtec wireless out there and they are no probs at all. This is G2 so I would consider that a pro kit. How would you see this RFS?
-
Enforcer for me aswell. Decent kit and decent price. Is it a hard wired or wireless bell? The reason for this is imo the maintenance will not include replacement batteries..... If it does then I would go for that. If not then check charge for replacement and how often the batteries are replaced.

I would buy a test monitor to start with.

Only 1 month to go and it's back. I doesn't surprise me that you don't like football tbh Matt. You keep playing with the loom bands in the shed. As for football hooligans I would say you don't have a clue what goes on. I did a project on this at college and met some of the most mad people....not to mention lawyers etc that were connected to firms. Mon the pars!!

Accidentally Shorted Sensor Power
Alarm Protection replied to OriginalBoffy's topic in !!..DIY Installers..!!
The fuse has blown. Use a meter to test then replace fuse. -
The point is we just put up with the problems. We as installers should be able to charge our suppliers for extra time if the problem is not ours or site needs an update due to their fault.

4 times this year? How many sites with texecom have needed a software update? I install Risco and they have had problems but they bring out a certain type of panel you can sell with camera etc. Texecom are still trying to get their wireless to work and that is a massive step behind. This Richochet is just not working. I thought each detector would send back to panel but now you have to get 2 detectors in the way ? Can't wait for the wireless bell.....?
