Also happens with mine even if I'm 10 metres away from it. I will post a picture tomorrow.
This is a long shot , but is this possible?

Hi all, just to update this, I went to my suppliers today and they kindly provided a replacement keypad. I fitted the new keypad just now, but the same problem still persists. So I suppose there must be some sort of interference where it's fitted.
What's opposite it or near it
It's time for pictures , don't worry if install is dodgy , so are mine
1 minute ago, Oisín said:Yes the wall is flat. It's a plastered concrete wall. The keypad sits perfectly on the backplate with no pressure needed to make it sit flush.
Just by chance when looking for a fix I watched the below video. The keypad in this video is behaving like mine when the wakeup feature is on.
But your saying when no one is near it right , from a distance

Ok that makes sense. I have the app so I have the virtual keypad too.
I know who to see if all else fails.
Are you in Ireland? Just wondering how you got app setup, had an installer at some point ?

In terms of changing the keypad, do I just remove the old one and connect the new one? Or do I have to remove the RKP in the engineer menu before disconnecting it?
You enter eng , remove the keypad , wire up new one and then add new one , system should see no keypad
I assume you have no app system so can't do it from virtual keypad
Or just add new one as keypad 2 and delete keypad 1 , don't really make much difference for you
Or you know who to go see right ?

I haven't had any issues with buttons being activated yet. But I might contact my wholesaler to see if a replacement keypad can be provided, if this is going to cause other issues down the line.
I bought the panel and keypad from an authorised distributor about three months ago. If I remember correctly the manufacture date stamped on the PCB is around the beginning of 2024.
I would swap it, they will get exchange aswell

Agreed but those ones shouldn't be in circulation anymore iirc they were the 1st gen?
They never knew which tho, depends where op bought this from ...

Cheers, I thought that might be the case. Probably wont bother replacing it as it works perfectly otherwise.
Some of the keypads had touch sensitivity problems , these are all usually exchanged via the supplier , hkc can't tell you which ones are at fault , and over time the problem gets worse where they keypad starts pressing its own buttons as such
If you bought without warranties unlikely you can exchange and will just have to hope it's just the Illumination bit

Where I placed the Siren (2mtrs away from panel) its right below the room PIR which is working fine, so does does point to the sounder.
But I'll also see if a PIR where the bell box outside is mounted works to be more certain. Thanks.
I get it probably could use an upgrade, but if its otherwise working seems a waste to replace (unless there are any other benefits you could suggest?_)
Also what would you recommend as a replacement ?
So you haven't physically damaged the tamper switch etc?

I have Scantronic 9651 installed. Due to some work, the builder removed the fuse from the Fused Mains Spur connected to the Control Unit. Then he lost the fuse and never put it in for 3 weeks. The PIR beeped a lot and then went silent and the builder has left!
I have replaced the 3Amp fuse but the Keypads have no power. What can I do?Unless you have some knowledge for this it will be difficult.
I would remove the fuse again
You need logically check for electrical power ,
How do you know the mains power is not disconnected somewhere? After inserting fuse that would be your first check , by maybe using a mains tester.

As many of you know im writing an engineer app that we use as a test monitor, ip camera tool etc as well as job sheets etc
Just wondering what tools / apps you find the most useful i can consider adding. ie I added flashing of the network port connection to help find the port in racks that has been well used since being added.
Ta
How's the rest monitor work ? Like a video feed or something?

Im fairly certain Hik does play back more than 1 camera, when in playback just add more cameras Dahua definately does do it I have just tried it.
Serage cheaper maybe

dB, is it Poe ?
Actually forget that, you're better off with the dahu bell, hikvision doorbell which has on they do various but I'm not sure what you mean by single channel playback as the hic and other recorders do playback more than one channel
I assume you have a limited budget which is fair enough

only reason i prefer serage is 4 cams to be viewed through the app. everything else is just 1 cam on playback, small thing but just feature we want
I know the Hik db can do rtsp but never used it, hik have sent the rtsp guide just going to read it and see
Also have checked with them and DB doesnt support onvif
dB, is it Poe ?

But i wont be using a HIk DVR brand, will be either Uniview or Serage
Then as above you need onvif which uniview probably will work better than serage , latter being total junk and uni more or less copy of hik

I hate Hik too but if you can set the protocol to onvif on the Dbell then your DVR should find it
I didn't think you needed to do that him dB to hik dVR/NVR?
7 hours ago, bm99 said:lol what do you guys use, dahua?
Actually the dahua doorbell is pretty good

Hi all, i have a hikvision KV6113 - WPE1 C doorbell
Im upgrading my DVR which is also going to have some IP cams added and want to pull the stream of the doorbell in.
Am i limited with which recorder can i use or can i bring the stream into any DVR which also has Ip cams added?
I think any , but have to connect it manually on the NVR on spare channel using it's IP address etc
Hik connect as seperate unit for the call ring features
Hate hik lol

I would expect that to be transmitted via the mains tho? I suppose looking back we didn't clarify if it was a mains vacuum and not a battery powered one?
If it's mains powered does the outlet it's plugged into effect the result?
Motor suppressors are usually just a class X2 cap with a bleed resistor across the line/neutral. Something that could be tested and replaced if it had failed.
So those mains suppressor things won't help on the panel end in this case ?
