  1. What hasn't worked? Did you close all covers and reset?
  2. If I didn't enjoy electronic s I wouldn't bother with installs , but can't help myself, hate cabling!
  3. oh well they went bust! left everyone in the lurch, you can get your old number back but theres a que lol, back to giff gaf for sms!
  4. bell transformers have some exceptions but not off a 32 amp ring main mounted next to it lol, some transformers now made to fit directly into cu been around for a while tho
  5. G2 are bit easier for home users I think, GD48 has advantage of telling you open zone in setting, but then g2 offers you the part and night set options for a home user a little better , rather than the gd with a and b key and using codes and extra tags for what you want G2-20 or g2-44 would do the job?
  6. Well box tamper can be general tamper aswell so you have the lid tamper which you know is closing (have you held the switch down by hand and then get someone to reset at the keypad to see if it works -- also you said you put tape on switch ? is it mounted on pcb or is switch seperate? ) you have a tamper in the keypad which is same as the g4 keypad unless your using a different one? (stretch spring if it has one) you have a loop tamper on the pcb in box ( make sure loop is connected, if its running through cables disconnect temporarily and loop it) you have a tamper on the bell itself have you checked all of these?
  7. Doesn't this panel have a spring or knotch on cover? Might be missing or broken I might be thinking of another version I thought it's in pcb for this panel so might be difficult to meter it?
  8. i assume this is normal then for the traders in the public forums? how many here in this thread are moderators? , just wondering
  9. lol better give it to kids to use then for there ipads!
  10. Basically the way it works is you have to click on the ads everynow and then and it will continue to allow you to use the free service, if you use it in sms and voice only, everynow and then you must click on an advert they send to you via email and they rigster that you clicked on it, not every day either, why i say email, is because if you have it in your gsm unit for txting only your not going to be surfing much but overall its just like going through an ad on youtube and you can skip after a certain amount of seconds, thats how there free service is paid for No adds done via sms i believe only via browser and email address
  11. Yes ad supported, still for a gsm unit it's free ,all it means is an ad comes up like in YouTube which you can skip on smartphones when using data ie internet Giffgaff is good but doesn't beat the free monthly service on ovivo
  12. Well there is no catch, sign up one off fee £20 and you get three hundred odd txt, enough to run a little gsm unit however it will give you free data for your ipad aswell! so you get the same amount of data and sms every month , no catch http://www.ovivomobile.com/ one thing to note, dont bother porting your number over, as the downside is if you get disconnected for some reason, they seem to be bad at that, where there communication is poor , and you may have over spent , but for general sms being free is fine, i did a little review search and found that to be a common problem
