Problem here would be current then , increase voltage won't give you increase current or have I mixed that up?

The Samsung bullets maybe dual powered, most of them are, same trouble I had so switched to ac psu's , so no need for convertor

Just because you have a tester showing live on live , doesn't mean neutral is present If it's an electrical problem have you checked the neutral is making contact? I assume its off a fused spur Just one thing to check i suppose I assume your taking precautions working on mains seeing as your connecting it or get an electrician to check it Is it showing live on the neutral aswell? Then has to be as above -
Any specific camera model numbers or that varies on hik ? For what you thought was good?

So buy a panel and bits put it on a bench and work on it until it is right, job done end of ?

I still think this is satel breaking into u.k market they do try and sell here I believe, if it isn't , it's not a bad way to keep the satel links up instead of being blatant lol why not just ask the rep from satel? They seem to have a tech support manuals etc etc Could be wrong of course I am tsi affected

First decide on panels or panel your going to use , some allow different values on each zone some are fixed values for the particular panel Then you will see what value is best On an electronics point of view, I assume lower values example 500ohms may make things difficult to detect, faults tampers etc hence why higher values are used or no resistor with seperate tamper loop Experts may correct me here
