Don't understand what your saying, I thought shocks were already installed and you only wanted to add a door contact?
If your not willing to mess with the panel but willing to mess with programming you may aswell Buzz through a pair and stick door contact on that
Also you need to know what panel you have , "think" means guessing and any advice could be wrong
To be honest programming can get confusing , get engineer? At least get a quote ?

Hi James
thought about that but decided against it as if anything ever goes wrong I can see the window company blaming the alarm install. I have hopefully managed to get some matching trim pieces that I will use to put over the cables.
Now is just what to do with the sensors, can I daisy chain the shock to a contact I understand they will be on the same zone but the main thing is the door will be protected better. The sensors are wired EOL so I guess I need to move the resistors to the last sensor
Thanks
Sohail
Daisy chain as in series yes, but if sol isn't there enough zones or pairs to give an additional circuit?

1) Employing 3 people to check faults.
They do more than just checking faults. They do a lot of Pre-configure stuff and activate licences and build CCTV systems and etc

What makes you think it's still mains, you said you fitted a spike filter? So in theory it can't spike
Intermittent suggests as above the pcb, or loose battery terminals perhaps could be something simple.....

You used to be able to unclip the ribbon from its plug and reseat the ribbon to cure this termination issue.
Might be worth a look.
Are you see! Your not just bunch of Muppets
Your helpful clever fraggles!
Just joking of course , that did the trick by the way weird little pannel or ribbon I should say thanks

Hi, is there a fix for the onboard keypad, has a small ribbon type board flat thing whatever u call it, moving it seems to allow buttons to work
-
= in my opinion
Lol wondered what that meant!

Or put the pir at door frame height rather than ceiling height depends on how it looks, if you have spindles I found pets trigger pir as they go up, if no spindles and just a wall going up stairs then should be no problem

What are you planning to connect to the 2amp psu? Everuthing else will have the main system battery as backup in mains fail , if psu goes down whatever is on it will go down
Hence as 6w says PSU200XP which has room for batteries, or something similar if you keep ur existing expanders a psu with an alarm output and battery back or something like that perhaps

That I find acceptable, Its the homes you go into and there cable running along walls and etc.
Depends how you run them, as for "horrid cables" complete nonsense
Op go wired where ever possible and wireless only if really have to
