    does everyone have problems with hik vision? Is it cheap brand? Few cameras I have done have been analogue Samsung and a few honeywells both still expensive to buy What hd camera would you recommend ie 1080p or? Standard svr not nvr type

    Sorted no problem You guys ever etch your own pcb's when making circuits or was it Vero board was it called where you cut the tracks etc Used to be all good then industry changed..... I used to buy the pellets and the pens Mark it all out drill it No time of course now

    What a messy job! Crimp the resistors aswell as solder, come on you alarm technicians all easy stuff circuit building? You will need quals to build that I reckon

    Could still do with a decent cat5 stapler though , it's rough trying to clip through a loft spaces lol You all using clips? Or p clips? I used some cable ties with eyelets for bunches works ok, or is that a no no aswell?

    Took one out A few weeks ago , panel was trying to light a fire it looked!

    I experimented on some cat5 stapled on bench perfect every time , soon realised cat5 isn't like 8core doesn't keep its shape aswell , clipped it in the end Also if wood is very soft staples don't hold very well depends on type of wood aswell Is there an adjustable gun? Ie Staple sizes

    but if you don't need it and use it as grade 2 why do you need it as fault?

    Why can't you cut the ceiling? After all you should have run 8core every where , use Polyfila after sand down paint Then connect your bell There must be a way or another route

    I see HTC have hdmi adaptors not sure what else so I assumed most smart phones can do something or is that an output lead

    Maybe you spliced the cables up wrong , as above 12v intermittent perhaps

    Disconnect Rio , do you get same fault , might be pcb fault
