  1. Similarly I used to look for what I'd describe as best value, now I'm getting older I factor in my time and the true value of saving a few pounds. I'm a big advocate of buy the best you can afford nowadays. The sweet taste of quality remains long after the bitter taste of cost.
  2. Problem as I see it is, and correct me if I'm wrong, there is no trail of tampering? Much like a bump key if they lock it after your goosed
  3. Banks are scarily lapse with alarms, they rely on the vault in any event of it not working rather than wait out of hours for an engineer. In fact thinking about it, I've never been to a bank ooh.
  4. Because less and less people give a hoot I reckon, and why would a crim go to the trouble of jamming or even capturing a PIN on someone who has a YALE system. I'd be interested to know the true figures for any radio system circumnavigated in a similar way. I also wish I has a pound for every YALE system sold, people buy it through brand trust and recognition.
  5. I have an account but can't remember the log on or e-mail I registered with, seems full of self important bullshitters.
  6. Hi, if the alarm is part of the lease then ask your landlord to arrange an engineer to service and sort.
  7. It may be all about the service he receives...
  8. Hi Wllie147, Surely the company you bought it from will offer support then?
  9. Actually, a neighbour has one and it strobes not chirps when they set ti.
  10. No idea, just a hunch that the o/p may be sticking, you could also try removing the bell trig and see what happens.
  11. Try turning off chirp confirmation on set jobby and try again.
  12. No, URN is trade only, well for now at least, everything else is for sale.
  13. Insurance companies are like banks, all good when you are giving them your cash, but under the skin they are all parasitic bastards.
  14. I agree but if they don't accept them then others will.
  15. It's been available for ages, no different to the DIY shed's selling gear, it's the shape of things to come.
  16. Jeeze that's subjective!
  17. Hi and welcome, Securus a bit like the Plexus group I guess?
  18. Pickups would be a ballache to work from imo, stuff rolling round in the back, having to clamber around looking for parts, only one way in. Feck that, at least with an estate it's got two points of entry but I'd always go van if you are installing and have an estate for service only. I see a pick up, I see a pikey
