I have been broken into 3 times since january with no help from the police. I bought my house 2 years ago only to find that 7 sockets and the burglar alarm not working. It took a while and much damage to locate the fault. A cowboy builder had put a nail through the cable feeding said items whilst boxing in the boiler pipework. Now I can get power to my alarm system but have refrained due to no manuals and not knowing what will happen. I require manuals for an old A&G Avenger Micro3 Delux. Yes I have read the Engineer posts regarding handing out manuals and can see both sides points of view. As a competent builder and computer techie with a diploma I am hoping someon…

Hi everyone, being a newbie is always terrifying, the chances of putting your foot in it are extremely high, So I hope you will excuse any blimps. I really found this site by accident, looking for info on Mercury 'phone equipment. Any how cut to the chase, my fax blew up on me and I picked up this fax/phone/answer machine, an old samsung Model No SF110T. Naturally it will not operate on the BT system, does anyone know if there is a switch or something that can be thrown, or disabled to allow it's use on BT lines ? Thanks for looking, Chasa. (ps I'm a locksmith not a 'leckie, electrickery scares the carp out of me !)

Evening Security Engineers,, I'm an experienced guy of MOD, Home office, Town centre and god knows what c##p hole i'll end up in next week, but nothing could phase me more when my sister asked my for an alarm system as a wedding present. They're both arty and so any hint of an 8 core would be a no no. So i decided wireless, but have no idea whats a good, reliable, say, 4 PIR, 2 door contact, wireable bells system. The only wireless experience i've got is of a galaxy hibrid in a 5 story town house in london, which was sh*t. Theres some aweful looking things on ebay for about 50 pence which look like they'll never work. Any ideas guys of something thats reliable. Cost not a…
