buying a burglar alarm from friend of mine who company has closed down and alarm is 3 years old need someone to fit this in my shop the whole alarm is complete with with everything working order can someone advise xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi - can anyone help urgently? I have an Optima XM house alarm that I need to disable asap. I am having an extension built and it needs to be relocated in the morning. I thought it would be a simple job but I (and the builders) am baffled. How do I disable it? I'd be v grateful for a prompt reply! Thanks

Hi I started out as leak detection engineer 8 years ago using systems like Hydrosense etc. Then added gas detection and trace heating. About 2 years ago I setup on my own and got trained by Xtralis on the Vesda equipment. Since then I have been trained on Stratos and Wagner equipment. I have put myself through Units 1-4 of the FIA courses. Hopefully will undertake the rest this year. Hoping to pick people's brains and gain knowledge on equipment that I haven't come across especially the older systems. Look forward to speaking to you.

Hello Guys/Gals, Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sam and i run a small Family owned Installation company Called P.P.S Intruder Systems. We are based near Blackburn Lancs and cover North West and now East Anglia as one of my sons have just relocated down there. We dont really specialise in any one panel make but like to offer a complete proffesional service. At the moment i am looking for a young school/College leaver to join our team of 3. Hi Everyone I'm currently in the process of completing a new-build. It's my first venture of this nature and I've learnt an awful lot. I'd even go as far as saying I'm hooked and am already looking for another plot, although the wife has suggested that she wants out of the shoebox we're in and wants to go HOME! I'm looking into security; alarms and CCTV and stumbled across this forum. There will no doubt be some very simple questions posted for advice and guidance so please don't get too annoyed! hi, just been looking through some of the posts, looking forward to contributing. I've been a sparky since l did my apprentiship when i left school but moved into the security installation in 93. Been working for a company in Chestrfield for the last 15 years but had to move on when i didnt get paid for 6 weeks!! Guess it's a sign of the times. just got a new job still in Chesterfield as an engineer but the money is nowhere near as good. Looks like i'm job hunting in the west midlands now as i moved down here a year ago. Anybody got any job offers anyway.......HAPPY NEW YEAR
