I come across this often , DIY installs connected to the Internal customer network , and picked up on on if because passwords are still on default , and allot of them internal cameras around the house apparently secure various makes and models

Even if setup with a unique password. Ring have been sharing images and location data to US police forces.

They have even been offering doorbell versions free if you agree to submit all data directly to the local force.

I purchased one of the doorbells when they first came out. It didn't work very well and after a day a fully charged doorbell was down to 37% battery, so I didn't believe their unbelievable two years between charging boast

I sent you a tat pan & tilt camera with some other junk.

 

I'd had some others off the same ebay seller which went on a couple of jobs & they where brilliant for the money

they changed model & the replacement was "meh"
