pjm1959
Currently, have a CEF AP28 keypad/control panel. The front cover keeps on falling off. Am I able to replace the keypad with a new one or will I have to change the control panel as well? sixwheeledbeast
One of those 700L rebrands I believe. If you can find a keypad just swap it over, although you maybe better just upgrading for something that comes as a panel and keypad if you feel competent to do that. 1 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/42819-new-keypad/#findComment-484529 Share on other sites
Specialist
I think you'll be lucky to find parts for it now, it wouldn't cost that much to fit a new panel and keypad. Why does the lid keep popping off, is the little securing screw missing ?. 1 Customers Love us, Intruders Hate us. Having said that, I installed one in a mates garage a few years back & it never gave a minutes trouble. Went off on a couple of occasions when he had scroats trying to break in, so did what it was meant to.
