December 8, 20178 yr comment_472177 Hi guys need some help . Urgently . Recently had some work done in my house and the fuse spur for the alarm has been blowing every couple of day for passed week. This Pir I’ve noticed has gone red also so was wondering if this could be the problem cause all the others have blue lights. If this cable was broken it’s only 12volt anyway so didn’t think this could be the problem the fuse in the spur was 13amps also , thought it should of been a 3 or 5 amp . Didn’t take the MCB out just blew the fuse . . Can anyone help me out . Many thanks guys , Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41794-help-guys/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 December 8, 20178 yr comment_472186 If your blowing 13A plug top fuses there is something seriously wrong on the mains side of the alarm (assuming only the alarm is connected to the spur). I would suggest isolating it and powering the system down until tests can be made to the electrical connections or control panel. December 9, 20178 yr comment_472194 Assuming spur is short distance from panel then they may have damaged cable coming out of the spur to panel Picture of spur? Panel? Internal of panel?
