I was told that Hik made an offer on Paxton but it was turned down, they are in the market for a UK access Control Co

One of the reasons I wouldn't touch Hik.

A few years ago I spent a week or so goin around flashing HIK DVRS after an apparent hacking attack. 

 

Everything be hacked tho If someone wants to bad enough.

This was a topic of discussion on Radio2 Jerremy Vine? Yesterday. Amongst the discussion was HIK having state funding and embedded access.
