What are your opinions on the scantronic 9600 and what do you know about it such as when it was released and software bugs

They were okay in their time but technology has moved on a few miles and it must be 20 years since they stopped making them

Solid panels but would replace now with up to date kit.

Ok well as you know I do like it

I still have some software update chips as had a bug when they wouldn't see cct 1 if programmed as final exit

replace with 9651 ;-)

9651 outdated aswell waste of time , not saying its bad but your better off with Texecom and its firmware

a 9600 is old ****, from IIRC 1989 ish onwards?

should some one move in a zone omitted in part set during entry it can produce an alarm,

sometimes entry tones can continue after unsetting (walk testing stops it)

get crash happy with age

I keep some real old scanny tat, but I wouldn't keep that!
