LOL This site has been going since 2003, and some of us have been around all that time. There are many regular members that participate and we all try to help each other out. There is a fair bit of banter, at the end of the day we all work in the security industry so the banter will always be there put up with that and you will find this site more use than you will have ever imagined.

 

I personally have made some good friends, and met one of my best friends through this site.

 

We have Standards experts, CCTV experts, Intruder experts, Fire experts, and Access control experts, and there is always someone on here that has the answer to the question you have not needed to ask yet, even if that answer is not what you wanted to hear.

 

To get the best from this site participation is the key, sharing knowledge with like minded people is to the benefit of all. 

 

The trade section is blocked from the public area for obvious reasons, there is information in trade on the workings of security systems. In the public area there is mostly DIY info, and nothing that could help any burglars.

 

If you can put up with the banter (Like ADI's post above) and stick around you will find this site most useful
