Hi, is there a fix for the onboard keypad, has a small ribbon type board flat thing whatever u call it, moving it seems to allow buttons to work

Replace the panel.

They are obsolete are some models have an issues with overcharging the battery.

I'd reccomemd a texecom veritas 8 as a replacement for a similar model.

idd have to check but the optima compact is the same size board, id just wonder about the keys, they were round on the xl?

You used to be able to unclip the ribbon from its plug and reseat the ribbon to cure this termination issue.

I removed a veritas r8 & h type sab & put a euro mini & xs3d in 1hr20, inc jobsheet, payment, zone text, coffee & custard creams.

Get you! Had you down as a Bourbon man tbh.
