Effectiveness its only limited by your skill level Domestic units are mainly based on pir only tech, this means you can mask out nuiscence area's simply using white tape apptly placed. Remmember, this is your mum's home, not yours so is as she would use it generally (wether mainly alone or with others). it is then a choice between the odd 'unwanted' activation and the enegy wasted by having a set of un-needed lights on.
